Visit 4-5 Award Winning wineries on the Waimea Plains and the Moutere Hills.  Both regions have a great reputation for the aromatic varieties - Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, and their own distinctive take on Sauvignon Blance, some exquisite examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and some superb 'stickies'.

As you travel between the wineries there is over 100kms of pristine scenery to enjoy.  Your experienced guide will pass on local European and Maori history.  With weather permitting, a short scenic walk can also be included, therefore comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

A very special day out where you will learn to taste wines like a professional, with the possibility of meeting the winemakers and owners of the vineyards (subject to availability).  Sampling approximately 20+ boutique Nelson wines will tempt the most discerning wine lover.
