Step aboard the TranzCoastal and explore one of the most rugged yet accessible corners of New Zealand's scenic South Island.

The TranzCoastal travels daily between Christchurch and Picton and there are a range of fares available, giving you the option of simply going there and back in a day, or stopping off for sightseeing along the way.

Fares are available for one-way and return travel - so if you are departing from Wellington you could choose to either hop on an early ferry and make it to Christchurcy by nightfall, or stop for the night in Kaikoura and spend the morning there.
