This is the official home to the breeding and incubation program of the Rowi Kiwi. Found only in the Okarito Forest near Franz Josef, the Rowi is the worlds rarest kiwi with just over 375 years of surviving.

The "Backstage Pass"  has been judged by Lonely Planet as one of the top 12 must see activities in New Zealand.
