A 3 day wilderness walk through the internationally renowned Puhi Peaks Nature Reserve. Join the path of discovery into the 'World of the Gods'.

This is an exclusive private guided walk with breathtaking mountain scenery, diverse eco systems, rare and endangered species of flora and fauna.

Accommodation is at Shearwater Lodge, purpose-built for comfort and enjoyment set in a spectacular alpine valley.  The scenery is spectacular and don't be surprised to see wildlife, deer or chamois grazing quietly amongst the tussocks.  Native songbirds and curious Kea will entertain you in the evenings.

Average fitness with good mobility required to walk for 5-7 hours over mountain tracks each day. Total distance walked each day is approximately 8.5 km. Your guide will ensure a pace suitable to the ability of the group.
