Marlborough is often spoken of as the Sauvignon Blanc capital of the world.  The climate is perfect for producing intensely flavoured grapes.  The region also produces Chardonnay, Riesling & Pinot Noir and a recent entry to the region's quality wines is Methode Traditionelle sparkling.

For a fun day explore the region and sample the wines by bike.  Although unguided a personal touring route can be provided to include cool cycling routes, scenic spots, vineyards, wineries, plus arts & crafts shops along the way.
