Experience the pleasures of horse riding through open farm land and along the banks of the Waimakariri River. 

You will be collected from your accommodation and taken to Waimak River Horse Treks approximately 20 minutes from the city centre.  An experienced teacher will accompany you on the trek and is available to provide advice and assistance.

There are treks and horses available for both the beginner and experienced rider. 

Both morning and afternoon pickups throughout the year.

Tour CLT11 - Horse Trekking

• An extended trek through open farm land, a good ride for the adventurous rider. 
• For the more experienced rider this can include a canter or gallop.

Tour CLT12 - Horse Trekking with Bar-B-Que Lunch

• The extended horse trek as CLT11 and includes a B-B-Que lunch.

Tour CLT13 - Horse Trekking & Jet Boating
